1.  This Months Meeting

Our speaker for the meeting is Dr Michael J Brennan, an Executive Director and Environmental Scientist Teroma Pty Ltd and Certified Environmental Practitioner.  He will be talking on 'Climate Change Compliance'. 

Date/Time:    14^th October 2008, Networking from 6.30pm , Meeting starts at 7:00pm

Where:          Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre, Windsor

Cost:              Members - $5.00
                     Non members - $10.00

A light supper is provided.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from February to November.

Next Month

Our speaker for the meeting on the 11th November is stockbroker Nancy Strah.  She will talk about 'Making money on the stockmarket'.

Starting next year we will be running a membership drive.  The current member who introduces the most new members will get a year’s free membership to HBBN.  More details in February’s newsletter.

Our full page ad should be in this week’s paper.  (I am writing this before it has arrived).  The proof looked fantastic.  Payment is due on Tuesday Night. Please make cheques out to Hawkesbury Home Based Business Network.

7.  FREE Members Advertising Promotional Event

Attention Members - We need 40 of your current business cards for a new and exciting advertising event.  Please bring them to the next meeting (October) or post to Hawkesbury HBBN PO BOX 381  Windsor 2756.  Feel free to contact one of the committee members to drop the cards off with them.

You won’t want to miss this free advertising event.

8.  Christmas Celebration

Our Christmas celebration will be held at East Court Chinese Restaurant on 29 November starting at 7pm.  Family and friends are invited.  There will be lucky door prizes, competitions, karaoke and lots of fun.

Please pay a $10 deposit, per person, by the November meeting to secure your seats.
